Don\’t shout during labor

Mothers should not shout loudly during childbirth

The correct approach should be for the mother to have a correct understanding of childbirth, eliminate mental stress, pay attention to rest between contractions, eat and drink on time, so that the body has sufficient ability and physical strength. This not only facilitates labor but also greatly increases pain tolerance. If the pain is really unbearable, you can also do the following actions to further reduce the pain.

(1) Take a deep breath

As your uterus contracts, take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth. Do this 10 times per minute, pause during contractions, let the mother take a short rest, and repeat the above actions during the next contraction.

(2) Massage

While taking deep breaths, it is best to cooperate with massage.

When inhaling, gently massage your hands from both sides of the lower abdomen to the center of the abdomen; when exhaling, massage from the center of the abdomen to both sides. The number of massages per minute is the same as the number of breaths. You can also gently massage uncomfortable parts with your hands, such as the waist, pubic symphysis, etc.

(3) Compression and pain relief

While taking a deep breath, use your fist to press on your lower back or pubic symphysis.

(4) Proper walking

If everything is normal for the mother, after the doctor agrees, she can move around appropriately, rest on a chair for a while, or stand for a while, which can also reduce pain.
