Pre-pregnancy diet determines child’s gender

Pre-pregnancy diet will not directly determine the gender of the child. The gender of a child is determined by the genetic material of the parents, namely the sex chromosomes carried in the father\’s sperm. If the sperm carries a Y chromosome, the child is a male; if the sperm carries an X chromosome, the child is a female.
