My IVF experience
My husband and I have loved having children since we got married, but years of infertility left us very discouraged. After many unsuccessful attempts, we decided to try IVF. The process was full of ups and downs, but ultimately successful in welcoming our first child. I want to share my experience to help others understand the reality of IVF.
Reason for choosing IVF
There are many reasons why we choose IVF. First, we wanted to have children, but an infertility diagnosis left us with little chance. Secondly, we did not get active and effective treatment, so we turned to in vitro fertilization technology. In the end, we decided to go this route because we felt we had regained our chances of raising and having children anyway.
The process of in vitro fertilization
IVF is a very complex process that requires close collaboration between doctors, laboratory technicians and patients. We consult with mutual physicians to determine the most cost-effective and cost-effective treatment. Of course, we have to make a choice after digging for more information and understanding it in detail. On important dates, I have to do AI or injectable drugs to increase the number of follicles in my body. Some discomfort would manifest itself from the side effects of medications, recycling materials, and other operations, but I decided to tolerate them. After an IVF procedure, we note that erosion and genetic screening are a necessary part of the process. Eventually, I became pregnant with our baby!
Advantages and Disadvantages of IVF
IVF has many strong advantages, such as having a chance of success and being the last hope in the infertility treatment process. However, it also has some negative aspects. IVF is just a form of surrogacy, and medical surrogacy is very expensive, making the treatment unaffordable for many people. Please understand and study the financial and psychological preparation for it.
Lessons learned from trying IVF
I have to admit, trying IVF was a nerve-wracking process. In the process, we learned a lot through these lessons. We contacted and sought out doctors, learned about sharing other people\’s stories, and practiced careful self-management and regulation. We believe that considering counseling is a necessary step, planning and arranging for it in advance. This is very important because IVF treatment is physically and mentally challenging, and your mental state must be maintained as well.
Summary
Although the IVF process was full of great challenges and uncertainties, in the end we successfully gave birth to our child. The experience we learned while trying IVF was very helpful to us. Counseling is to help maintain physical and psychological balance. The entire process can be very long, but the end result is satisfying and grateful. Also, IVF is very expensive and has few guarantees. Therefore, I suggest that those who want to try it should pay attention to the incubation period, think carefully, and the doctor will give you the most professional and healthy guidance.
