5 Things Pregnant Mothers Should Pay Attention to When Eating Work Meals

1. Stay away from fried foods

For fried foods outside, the cooking oil used in the production process is inevitably not re-cooked oil that has been used several times. This repeatedly boiled oil contains many harmful substances, and pregnant mothers should stay away from it.

2. Reject strong food

The dishes eaten when dining out are often not average in taste. Pregnant mothers should eat less salty food to prevent water and sodium retention in the body, which may cause elevated blood pressure or swollen feet. Other spicy, overly seasoned foods should also be wisely avoided.

3. Eat a piece of fruit after a meal

In order to make up for the lack of fresh vegetables, it is best for pregnant mothers to eat a piece of fruit 30 minutes after lunch to supplement the lack of vitamins in the body. If it is not convenient to clean the office, pregnant mothers can wash the fruits before going out in the morning, then wrap them in plastic wrap and bring them to the company.

4. Choose your drinks carefully

For drinks, choose mineral water and pure fruit juice. Drinks containing caffeine or alcohol are not good for pregnancy, so it is best not to choose them.

5. Carry milk in bags

Working pregnant mothers who eat out need to add some calcium-containing foods. Bringing milk to the office to drink is a good idea. If your office doesn’t have a microwave, don’t forget to pick up pasteurized milk.
