7 positions for childbirth (pictures)

The due date is approaching day by day. If you are giving birth for the first time, are you worried about entering the delivery room at that time? You don\’t know how to exert force to deliver the baby smoothly, and you are even worried that you will feel embarrassed. The experience of many elderly mothers is that giving birth is like defecating, and giving birth is as easy as defecating for thousands of years. So, what kind of posture should be correct? In fact, giving birth is really like taking a dump. Everyone has different postures. What kind of posture makes you feel comfortable? That\’s the best position for you.

Method: The mother lies flat on the bed with her legs straight and raised. At present, this position is mostly used for childbirth.

The tilt height of the bed head can be adjusted according to the needs of the mother.

Historically, the supine position for delivery has not been the primary position in obstetrics. Although this posture can help the fetus change its position and facilitate delivery, it cannot make full use of gravity and may easily cause the mother to shed tears.

Advantages: It is convenient for obstetric treatment (such as negative pressure suction) and neonatal treatment, and is suitable for the needs of medical personnel.

shortcoming:

1. The enlarged uterus when lying on your back will compress the veins and reduce the blood returning to the heart, which may cause intrauterine distress and increase postpartum hemorrhage.

2. Supine delivery limits the plasticity of the pelvis, narrows the birth canal, and increases the chance of dystocia.

3. The fetal gravity loses its original effect, resulting in prolonged labor and making the mother prone to fatigue.
