But what is gratifying is that he performs quite well in all aspects. He has developed morally, intellectually, physically, artistically, and physically quite comprehensively. He is not very let down. I worry. Next, I will share from the following aspects how I educated Wanwan while he was growing up. 1. Learn to be a human being first, and then become a scholar; noble moral character is the foundation of success. This is a concept I have conveyed to Wan Wan ever since he was sensible. I ask him to love the motherland, respect his teachers, respect the old and care for the young, be civilized and polite, observe social ethics, not be ignorant when picking up money, not take advantage of others, etc. To give a small example, I remember that when he was in kindergarten, he learned a curse word from somewhere and I heard it. I severely criticized him and warned him that if I heard a curse word coming out of his mouth again, Dirty words will never be tolerated lightly. He realized the seriousness of the problem and quickly admitted his mistake. After that, he never said bad words again. Sometimes, some of the children\’s problems are really caused by their parents. The younger the children, the better the education effect, because they can\’t distinguish right from wrong. As long as parents guide them well and discipline them strictly, they will develop in a good direction and establish a positive world outlook, outlook on life, and values, that is, We often refer to the \”three views\”. With a healthy \”three views\”, a child\’s life will be good. When children grow up and develop bad habits, it is too late to change them. Therefore, take care of your children as early as possible. 2. Scores are not the most important, but good scores can allow you to enter a better platform, stand higher, see further, and have a more exciting life. In terms of study, this is what I told Wanwan. I have taught him since he was very young to be ambitious and take a long-term view, not to care about temporary gains and losses, not to be arrogant in victory and not discouraged in defeat, not to be proud of a high score in a test, and not to be discouraged by a failure. Frustrated. Knowledge lies in accumulation over time, step by step, and if you have a solid grasp, one day you will realize the process from quantitative change to qualitative change. In the end, all the knowledge learned is integrated into a person\’s blood and stays with him for life. Isn’t there such a saying? Hidden in your temperament are the books you have read and the paths you have traveled. I also told him: Study for yourself, not for others. If you don’t want to study, I will never force you to do it, but if you think about it, what are you going to do if you don’t study? what can you do? You must think carefully before making a decision and think twice before you act. You have to take responsibility for your own life. From childhood to adulthood, we have never given him any rewards or punishments for his good or bad test scores, nor have we asked him to compare with others. We only asked him to compare with himself and make progress little by little. His results are not top-notch, but they are relatively stable. Now, he is looking forward to attending a great school, meeting great people, learning great technology, and living a great life when he grows up. In order to realize his ideal, he must work hard. Because I have told him a long time ago: People can only rely on themselves, and your noble person is yourself. 3. Let reading and writing becomeas a habit. This is the thought I have instilled in him for a long time. I have been cultivating his reading habit since kindergarten. Reading can increase people\’s knowledge, broaden their horizons, and distinguish right from wrong, while writing can express what is in the heart. It is an outlet for expression, making thoughts clearer. You can reflect on yourself at any time, summarize and make yourself better. . Read more and read good books. With a lot of reading, you will have a rich knowledge reserve. You don’t have to worry about the materials for writing. You can also learn various writing techniques in the process of reading. With these accumulations, I can pick them up at my fingertips and use them for my own use. With beautiful words, various allusions, varied writing methods, and your own thoughts, you won\’t have to worry about not being able to write a good article. What is gratifying is that Wanwan did well in the Chinese midterm exam and got full marks in his composition. This is inseparable from his love of reading since he was a child. Once you develop the habit of reading and writing, it will benefit you throughout your life, and I am one of the beneficiaries. They can make people live more transparently and happily. I majored in English when I was studying, but I didn\’t like it very much. Writing is my hobby, because this hobby brings me a lot of happiness, and it makes me love life more. When children enter the workforce in the future, they will find that reading and writing are still indispensable. With good reading skills, you can quickly understand and master various documents and materials. With good writing skills, you can write beautiful copywriting and work summaries, making your work easier. 4. Modern society needs high-quality compound talents. I ask Wan Wan not only to have good grades, but also to be in good health, able to endure hardships and work hard, to be able to work in the hall and in the kitchen, to be a useful person, to bring happiness to others, and not to be a person who is greedy for pleasure. He started learning Taekwondo during the summer vacation of his first grade. In the second semester of his second grade, he took the bus to the gym to train alone, rain or shine. I remember one summer, it was extremely hot, with the temperature always hovering around 40 degrees. I felt sorry for him when he went out sweating, but in order to cultivate his hard-working spirit and perseverance, I still ruthlessly asked him to persevere. I wrote an article called \”If you are not cruel to your child, you will be sad in the future.\” In order for him to become an adult in the future, some experience is necessary, he must let go, and he must be cruel. I encouraged him to join the school basketball team. Now, he spends several hours every day on basketball training. His clothes look like they were fished out of the water. You can imagine how much sweat he put in. All the roads will not be in vain, and all the sweat will not be in vain. Not long ago, he led several classmates to win the championship for Class 5 (6) at the school\’s basketball culture and art festival. It is gratifying to congratulate. I also insisted that he share the housework. After long-term training, he is now a very skilled dishwasher and can also cook noodles and simple meals. From this, he can not only taste the sense of achievement of being self-reliant, but also master some skills of independent living. This was also my original intention in letting him learn to do housework. Sooner or later, children will leave their parents and go out into society. As parents, we have a duty to cultivate children\’s ability to be independent and self-reliant as early as possible. In fact, there are many children in this class who are better than Wanwan.
