Being misunderstood by children is the fate of all parents

I went to play \”The Wandering Earth\” because of its reputation, and was deeply shocked. Science fiction + family love + human nature + survival choices, these bridges have always been seen only in European and American blockbusters, but now they are shown by the starring actors with yellow skin and dark eyes, and there is no sense of dissonance at all. Many articles have already been written about the hard science fiction core of \”The Wandering Earth\”, so I won\’t delve into it. As a fan of science fiction movies, I have never read the original work, and I don’t know the author. I just want to explain the parts of the movie that moved me purely based on the movie itself. In fact, like European and American blockbusters such as \”Transformers\” and \”Interstellar\”, \”The Wandering Earth\” is still telling a story of family love after peeling off the shell of science fiction, and the core of this story is the reconciliation between parents and children. The reconciliation between Liu Peiqiang and Liu Qi. The most important emotional line in the movie that drives the development of the story is the conflict between father Liu Peiqiang and son Liu Qi. 17 years ago, Liu Peiqiang participated in the \”Wandering Earth\” project to save the earth. He was going to serve on a space station in outer space. From then on, he was separated from his family by heaven and earth. As compensation, Liu Peiqiang received two places to enter the underground city shelter. This is not an ordinary quota, these are two quotas that can continue to survive. Liu Peiqiang has three family members, his wife, son and father-in-law. In order to let his son live a better life, Liu Peiqiang gave up his seriously ill wife without hesitation and chose his father-in-law Han Ziang who could continue to raise his son. He wanted to leave the hope of having a child to his son, and at the same time, he also laid the groundwork for the conflict between father and son. Sure enough, when the son grew up, instead of being grateful for his father\’s choice, he felt that his father was the murderer of his mother. So when he learned that his father was retiring and returning to the underground city to reunite with him, he ran away from home. Returning to the surface where the temperature is minus 84 degrees, just so that I don’t have to face my father again. Rather than saying that he hated the decision his father made when he was 4 years old, it was more that he was afraid to admit that if it were him in his place, he would have made the same choice. Whenever he thought of this, he felt even more guilty towards his mother. Therefore, Liu Qi hated his father\’s ruthlessness, hated himself for being weak at the age of 4, and his feelings for his father went from longing to resistance. Although \”parents love their children, they have far-reaching plans\”, but \”I tried my best and gave everything I could, but it was not what you wanted.\” This situation is still the case in countless real families, where parents and parents Irreconcilable conflicts between children. The same goes for Liu Peiqiang and Liu Qi. The conflict between their father and son runs through the film until the end, when Liu Peiqiang drives the space station towards Jupiter, detonates hydrogen gas and disappears into the vast universe, Liu Qicai finally completes the reconciliation with his father. At the same time, he also forgave himself for being powerless when he was 4 years old. This just confirms a saying in psychology. Only by psychologically completing the process of \”father killing\” and \”mother killing\” can a child become truly independent. At the end of the film, Liu Qi became a junior engineering vehicle driver and followed all his fellow human beings in their efforts to move the earth to a new home. The reconciliation between Han Ziang and Han Duoduo Han Ziang’s decision to let himself and his grandson enter the underground city is completely understandable from a man’s point of view, but from aFrom his father\’s standpoint, he could never get over the hurdle in his heart. Because when faced with only one chance of life, probably all the parents in the world would give it to their children. But at that time, Han Ziang was not only a father, but also a grandfather, so he chose to support Liu Peiqiang. But if my daughter could be younger and healthier, maybe the outcome would be different. So he let his daughter re-enter his life in another way. While on a mission, he accidentally picked up a baby girl who had no father or mother. He adopted her without hesitation and gave her the name of his daughter \”Han Duoduo\”. Although Han Duoduo calls him grandpa, he knows very well that he gave her the position of daughter. Before Han Ziang\’s life ended, the last words he said to Liu Qi were \”bring Duoduo home.\” Protecting his daughter and bringing her home was something he couldn\’t do himself. Even at the end of his life, he hoped someone could help him do it. This time, he finally exchanged his own life for the hope of a \”daughter\” and a grandson. In this way, he reached reconciliation with himself 17 years ago and with the daughter in his memory. The reconciliation between parents and children, Lao He, doesn\’t have many scenes in the whole film. The most impressive thing is that he got motion sick in a car, vomited half of his helmet and then forcibly changed it with Tim, who was a \”Sino-Australian joint venture\”. In the film, Lao He is a timid character who is greedy for life and afraid of death. But when Lao He opened the cigarette case and revealed the small words \”Remember to wear long johns\”, a rich image was established. Maybe he was timid because there was still a family waiting for him at home, or maybe because he was timid and failed to save his parents and relatives, so he always blamed himself and felt guilty, and always carried his mother\’s final instructions with him. In short, the audience can no longer know the truth of the matter and the story behind Lao He, but what we know is that such a cowardly Lao He, at the most dangerous moment, with attachment to his family and longing for his parents, he He still dedicated his life to saving all mankind. He made up for his inner shortcomings with heroic feats and reached reconciliation with his family. The same is true for Wang Lei\’s sacrifice. It can be seen from his self-report that his wife and children died before performing the mission, so he overcame the hardships and insisted on sending the flint to Hangzhou. In fact, it was not just completing the military mission, but also insisting on sending the flint to Hangzhou. It is also to make up for the family. Even though there was little hope and the team members tried to persuade him to give up, he still insisted on going his own way like crazy. That was because he could not forgive himself for losing his wife and children. Because of his career, Wang Lei has been forced to make a choice between the big self and the small self. This choice is both cruel and painful. Because his reason told him that sacrificing his ego was the right thing to do, but his emotions could not forgive him, so at the end of the film, he chose to sacrifice himself to make Liu Qi and Han Duoduo happy. Leaving the hope of life to younger and more valuable people, although cruel, is the law for the reproduction of the entire human race. But for individuals, the warmth of family is always their final destination. As long as they are raising children, parents cannot escape the fate of being misunderstood by their children. This is the fate of being a parent, and it is also a fate.An unbreakable curse. Therefore, no matter how many light-years it travels, it will not be broken. Even if it is a life-or-death moment like Jupiter hitting the earth, it will not be spared. But fortunately, children will eventually grow up, walk on the path their parents have walked, and experience the bitterness and ups and downs their parents have experienced. Only in this way can children and parents finally reach reconciliation between the two generations, and Continue to work together towards a common goal. To sum up, whether it is the hard-core science fiction stunt line or the delicate emotional line of the characters, \”The Wandering Earth\” is worth watching.
