First-grade children – choice of interest classes

Since they have many expectations and visions for their children, it is possible that many mothers born in the 1980s have too many things they want to cling to and want to raise their children well. In kindergarten, everyone enrolls their children in various interest classes. But in elementary school, the energy is completely different. The entire schedule needs a major adjustment, so it is time to clean up and reorganize the children\’s interest classes. Don\’t worry about your children having to sit in the car to eat, sleeping late at night with dark circles under their eyes, and mothers being exhausted physically and mentally. After all, not everyone will be like Jiang Minxi. I have summed up some thoughts on separation and shared them with you: 1. Don’t just start from the perspective of “I am good for you”, don’t make subjective choices for your children, respect the children’s own wishes, and avoid making too many arrangements. When enrolling a child in a class, we must start based on the child\’s interests, rather than enrolling the child in whatever class we think is good. For example, when I enrolled my children in classes last year, I not only wanted them to learn musical instruments, but also wanted them to learn dance, painting, musical instruments, and karate. But after the child took dance classes and musical instruments, he didn’t want to take them no matter what. Therefore, when it comes to children attending interest classes, do not force them to go. Forcing them will lead to rebellious psychology. Even if they attend under pressure at the time, they will not be serious about it later and it will be difficult to persist in the middle. 2. Retention that is helpful for academic studies and helps in further studies. No matter what the result is, at least it can bring a lot of self-confidence to the children during the learning process. 3. Respect the laws of children\’s physical development, choose sports-related interest classes, and cultivate children\’s physical fitness and will. It is best to consider the two-way choice of interests + specialties. 4. As parents, we cannot let our children be exhausted all day just to let them learn something. Over time, it will not be good for the child\’s physical and mental development, but only disadvantages. This is especially important. Sports: small investment, big return. You can have a healthy body and cultivate the will to persevere and never give up. Being close to home is the biggest advantage. It can exercise children\’s physical coordination, strengthen their physical fitness, improve their resistance, and is good for their growth. English: In the primary school stage, focus on English. Primary school is a sensitive period for language. You have enough vocabulary early. After you reach junior high school, the difficulty of English suddenly increases. If your English level is average, you need to spend a lot of time. You can use the time to improve English with your children, while other children who are good at English can set aside the same time to learn difficult subjects such as mathematics, physics and chemistry. Thinking ability: You must practice your thinking ability more. Don’t listen to some masters and don’t learn AS. If you don’t practice it in elementary school, you will miss a lot of time to practice thinking. This is the golden time to practice thinking. Yes, third to sixth grade. When does math improve the fastest? When children rack their brains and think hard about difficult problems, the brain is rapidly connecting various neurons and reshaping the brain. A lot of reading (extensive reading + intensive reading): The significance of a lot of reading to children is not just to improve Chinese language itself. Learning Chinese requires a lot of reading, but for children who read a lot, you will find that after they reach junior high school, they will The four subjects are also good because the understanding ability is strong enough and deep.He has enough thinking ability, so he can understand history, geography, and even politics. Children who read a lot, especially children who read intensively, have good thinking skills. Remember, streamlining is not the goal, growth is the key. Let us work together to create a healthier, happier and meaningful growth environment for our children!
