First-grade primary school students: Children’s backwardness stems from lack of self-discipline

01 As the saying goes, there is no rule without rules. This rule is not imposed by others, but exists in your own heart. Whether you are an adult or a first-grade elementary school student, if you only rely on others to control everything, how behind will you be? Therefore, it is very important for first grade primary school students to have the awareness to abide by the rules. For example, you are not allowed to turn around casually in class, you are not allowed to talk casually in class without the teacher\’s permission, and you are not allowed to move around casually, etc. These are discipline issues in the classroom. Discipline issues in the classroom must be maintained by teachers and students together. If there is no good discipline in a class, children\’s learning efficiency will be greatly affected. 02In teaching practice, I found that children vary greatly in observing discipline. Some children know exactly what they should do and what they should not do during class. When the teacher lectures, listen carefully and follow the instructions strictly. When the teacher asks questions, he actively raises his hand to answer them. The tasks assigned by the teacher can be completed quickly and well. But there are also some students who only think about how to play and have some fun in class. You can play many tricks with an ordinary piece of eraser. I once saw a child break the rubber into small pieces and put them in his mouth to chew. There was also a child who used an eraser and pencil as a lever to pop out another pen. Such things happen endlessly. Some children just want to play by themselves. What\’s serious is that he often disturbs others. For example, if you take other people\’s belongings at will, others ask for them but don\’t return them, and you even speak outrightly and unreasonably, which makes the other person very upset. There are also children who deliberately ball up a piece of paper and throw it at others as garbage. He was happy when he saw others angry. These behaviors are not allowed in the classroom. It will also be a headache for teachers to deal with it. 03This talks about the issue of self-discipline. In the classroom, children only rely on teachers to control them, and they cannot exercise self-discipline, which will seriously affect their learning progress. Moreover, the teacher\’s talk education may only cure the symptoms but not the root cause. Some children listen and act. When accepting criticism from the teacher, you have a good attitude. Normally it\’s still the same as before. Such children bring great troubles and challenges to teachers. The teachers also try their best to help them. After careful analysis, the reason why children are unable to discipline themselves is because of the bad habits they have cultivated since childhood. A child\’s first teacher is his or her parents. In the upbringing and communication since childhood, parents must consciously tell their children some rules and cultivate a simple sense of rules. For example, be civilized, polite, respect others, etc. These things should be consistent with the direction of school education. In this way, children can better integrate with the school\’s educational process after entering first grade. Achieve natural connection and better complete the transition. 04Education is something worth thinking about. It is very important, not only related to the child\’s own growth and progress, but also related to the future and hope of a family, and it is also a major event related to the national economy and people\’s livelihood. Therefore, both parents and teachers have the responsibility and obligation to help children develop good study habits. Children themselves must work harder and exercise self-discipline. Self-discipline is the basis for learning and progress.
