Recently, I have encountered some bottlenecks in parent-child reading. I have been reading with my children for six years, and it is a non-utilitarian reading. Only recently did I realize that my method was wrong and I had ignored one particularly important thing. A review of six years of parent-child reading is as follows: ① Parents have always read aloud, and there was interaction during reading, but the children\’s abilities have not been improved. ② Reading too many books without intensive reading means the child does not have a sufficient grasp of knowledge. ③ Excessive emphasis on reading time puts a lot of pressure on yourself, and your children are also under pressure. ④ Read a lot, but don’t have enough literacy, so they won’t have enough advantages after entering the first grade. The above is a review of my six years of parent-child reading. During these six years, my children and I have experienced the joy and fun of books, and the children\’s thinking and logic have been improved because of parent-child reading. After reading the theme-based learning books in February, I realized that we had overlooked a very important point in parent-child reading: breaking through the comfort zone. Educationist Vygotsky believes: \”There are two levels of children\’s development. One is the \”existing development zone\”, which is the level that can be achieved when solving problems independently; the second is the \”potential development zone\”, which is the level that can be achieved with the help of adults. This month , I have made a new plan for parent-child reading. Based on the previous reading without skill and concentration, I have added goals and methods to help children improve their reading ability and accumulate knowledge. 01. Don’t be greedy for too much, read only one book at a time. Sometimes we will find , there are too many books to read every day, including English picture books, Tang poetry, Chinese studies, and Chinese picture books. Switching back and forth between readings makes the reading experience not very good. To solve the above problems, you can complete reading in 3 stages every day. Get up early to read Tang poetry or Chinese studies. After studying in the evening, use the whole time before going to bed to read with your child, just read one book at a time. Select intensive reading and extensive reading books according to the children\’s stage needs.
