In one month, the reading atmosphere in the first grade was created

Read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles. The importance of reading is self-evident. Reading is like mining, \”mining for gold in the sand.\” But it is very difficult to truly make reading as natural as breathing. I love reading and value reading very much. Reading has brought a lot of changes to me, and I hope the children I teach will benefit from reading. 01 First grade, a new starting point. Habits developed in first grade will last a lifetime. At the first parent-teacher meeting, I clearly put forward my idea: to create a reading classroom to take the children to read together and share happiness together. Parents also agree with my ideas very much. I\’m not alone anymore, I have the support of 40 families. We have made a reading plan for September. Read a total of 26 picture books. In terms of quantity, there are a lot of them and it is difficult to read them all. Not really. Some picture books can be interspersed with Chinese and Taoist classes. For example, \”David Goes to School\”, \”Little Ali\’s Big School\”, \”Little Monster Goes to School\” and \”Big Head Fish Goes to School\”. These picture books make children look forward to going to school. It can be read together with the unit \”I went to school\”. \”Hello, first grade\”, \”First grade, not scary at all\”, \”Emotional Little Monster\”, etc. can be combined with the content of \”I am a primary school student\” to tell stories. Regarding the development of behavioral habits, you can read \”David Goes to School\”, \”If You Sit Askew\” and \”It\’s Not Dirty at All\”. In the process of reading picture books, you can understand what can and cannot be done. After the class reads together, share it with parents in a timely manner. For example: 9.2 Reading together: \”Little Ali\’s Big School\” By reading \”Little Ali\’s Big School\”, you can understand the children\’s confusion, understand them, and give them a sense of security. Let children accept new environments boldly and bravely. 9.3 Read together: \”David Goes to School\” By reading \”David Goes to School\”, we know that we must have a sense of rules when we go to school. Cultivate their awareness of listening carefully in class. Know not to run around or scream in the corridor. Don\’t be late for class or arrive early. The kids loved this book. We know we cannot be like David. I also know that David is a good boy and learn from him to clean the table seriously. Sharing each book one by one, we read more and more books together. The children are very interested in some books and want to read them, so we will read them again. For example, we read \”David Goes to School\” several times. Gradually, the children want to try reading by themselves and read with their own understanding. It will be all right. Give children a chance to express themselves. There are more and more people who want to share their stories. 02 The most important thing in reading is persistence, especially for first-grade children, it is not easy to develop the habit of reading. In order to encourage children to keep reading, we started parent-child reading check-in. Checking in for reading is indeed troublesome, but it can urge us to keep reading. After thinking about it, the pros outweigh the cons. Use this method before you think of other better methods. Checking in is not the purpose, but actually making reading happen is the purpose. We must understand from the bottom of our hearts that reading is not for homework, but for the growth of life. Reading is not something that happens overnight, it requires long-term persistence. Reading will not bring great benefits all at once. But reading can broaden our horizons and increase our knowledge. At first, we only uploaded a photo, but later parents suggested uploading a video to further motivate their children to read. II tried it with my daughter and found that shooting videos can really motivate her. In order to shoot the video, she would take the initiative to read and create her own stories. This way of reading is very good. Although she cannot read, she can read pictures and tell stories through them. Then, I said I also wanted to make videos to tell stories. When she was filming me, she listened carefully to the details of the story. After I finished taking the photo, she had to take it again. This time, I clearly felt that she was reading like me, and the plot was enriched. In this way, parent-child reading is completed unknowingly. One year, my daughter and I read 182 books together. She doesn’t like every one of these books, but at least I gave her the possibility. Some books are too early for children in small classes, but what does it matter? What matters is the time spent reading with her. The children in our class also have a lot of parent-child reading time. Some parents read a sentence while the child reads a sentence to accompany reading. Some children read to their parents. Some parents read to their children. Some children finished reading \”Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea\” and \”Robinson Crusoe\” with their mothers. And each child\’s reading posture is very good. Press the book with your left hand and read with your right hand. In such a reading environment, children\’s interest in reading can be slowly cultivated. The most important thing about parent-child reading is companionship. We want to make parent-child reading time fun. We don’t have to stick to the same rules of parents reading to children, we can change things. You can create situational reading and learn while playing. For example, my daughter is willing to open a bookstore. She loves being the boss. I am the customer. I went to buy books for her to recommend. Tell me about what\’s in the book. Reading in first grade does not require knowing every word, and there is no need to stop and look up the dictionary midway. Remember, do not let illiterate children read by themselves. Because he doesn\’t know many words, he will feel fearful and reluctant to read. 03In order to facilitate communication between home and school, I launched a questionnaire survey. Regarding reading, see what confusion parents have. I\’ll sort out the feedback. Parents also attach great importance to reading, but they don’t know what books to read and how to read. Feedback on this point is as follows: I am so lucky. The parents I meet are all very friendly and well-educated. I was very nervous when I first assigned the task. I\’m afraid parents may think differently. I would like to thank all the parents here on behalf of the children. You have opened the door to reading for children. I would also like to thank everyone for taking the trouble to take photos and check-in for the children, just to develop good reading habits. As for what books to read, I think you can read anything. You can start with a picture book that your children like, or an interesting story book. Before learning Pinyin, the reading I carried out in the class were picture book stories. I have read more than a dozen books. There are some books that children particularly like. For example: \”David Goes to School\”, \”Gremlins Goes to School\” and \”Dinosaur Bus\”. Free reading classes are the children’s favorite. Look at this book, look at that book. I also communicated with classmates at the front and back desks. Some books will appeal to a large number of children. Some children go to the library corner to read after class, which is great! We just take advantage of this first grade year without homework to let the children immerse themselves in the ocean of books and make reading as natural as breathing. Finally, I recommended a few books for reference. 04Carry out a reading exchange meeting in the class. comminicateWe made full preparations before the meeting. 1. Prepare your favorite books. 2. Share your favorite stories and show them on stage. You can hold a book and read it to everyone, or you can tell it directly. Confident, generous and smooth. 3. Complete the first issue of Reading, Writing and Drawing. \”My Mom\” was completed together with the parents in the first issue of reading and writing pictures because the children are not very literate and can write very few words. The requirements are as follows: We read the picture book \”My Mom\” together. Open the first issue of Reading, Writing and Drawing. To draw the mother\’s characteristics, it can be one painting or multiple paintings, and the painting level is not required to be too high. (1) A4 paper is divided into two parts. The painting and writing parts can be divided equally or according to the content. (2) Children can complete the painting part independently, and the writing part can be narrated by the children and written by the parents. Children who can write can also do it independently. Feedback after class: The children performed particularly well in today’s class. Be confident and generous and show your best self. This would also be inseparable from the strong support of parents. Thank you! I was so moved when I saw the children\’s reading and writing pictures. You are amazing mothers, your children really love you. We feel the joy of reading through teacher-student reading, parent-child reading, and reading sharing, and experience the true joy of reading. In one month, the reading atmosphere in the first grade was created. Next, keep at it. The October reading plan is being formulated…
