In the class I teach, when they were in the second year of high school, they posted a slogan: \”Laugh up at the sky and become a top student. How can I be a scumbag!\” Becoming a top student is probably every student\’s wish. But why are there so few people who can truly become top academics? Based on my twenty years of experience on the podium and my ten years of learning experience with my high school students, I think that in order to become a top student, you must first be interested in learning. 1. Can’t finish the homework? You have to make choices and do things that interest you, and the results will be twice the result with half the effort. \”Interesting\” is the beginning of a child becoming a top student. However, the resistance first comes from too much work. Nowadays, teachers in schools attach great importance to the subjects they teach. Each subject will leave homework after class. If you put eight or nine subjects together, the amount of homework is quite considerable. When a child cannot complete the task, he or she will feel tired of learning. Once this kind of emotion arises, the road to academic supremacy will be basically impossible. So, what can be done to prevent this from happening? Improving classroom efficiency and allocating your time rationally are the keys to solving this problem. For some subjects that focus on memory or do not require calculations, you should try your best to digest the content in class. Time after class should be used for thinking about science concepts and theorems, doing exercises, and reading training in Chinese and English. Tell your children that if you can\’t complete everything, you have to make choices to gain something. 2. Stop invalid excerpts and think positively. I often see students writing down every word the teacher said, and also copying down everything written on the blackboard verbatim. There are also some students who cannot finish copying in class and have to borrow notes from classmates to continue copying after class. Copying from the blackboard, copying notes, and copying textbooks, how much time has been taken away from the children? In fact, copying too much is a sign of lazy thinking. The knowledge that should be digested and absorbed in class should be left until after class. Can the study task in the evening not be heavy? In addition, knowledge is not internalized and stored in the brain, so it cannot be used at any time when doing homework and solving problems, making it more difficult for children to learn. Therefore, tell your children to remember what they can remember in class, and only what is more difficult to understand should be recorded. When I encounter something that needs to be written down in class, I will emphasize it to the students: You have to write this down and write it down in your notebook. I am very opposed to them writing down some things in notebooks, especially on small cards and sticking them on the desk. This behavior is basically a lack of confidence in one\’s own memory ability. Mathematical formulas must be memorized in order to be used effectively. If you have to go over the formula every time you do a question, you will never remember it, and you will have no ideas because you don\’t have enough knowledge stored in your mind. When we solve problems, we actually connect the problem with the existing knowledge and thinking methods in our brains, so we must store enough things in our brains and be organized. In this way, you can call it at any time when it is time to use it, and your thinking will be clear. So, what can we do to overcome the bad habit of copying too much and being too lazy to use our brains? I have a few suggestions: 1. Don’t copy from the blackboard during class, but summarize and refine the knowledge on the blackboard. 2. For things that must be memorized, try to ask yourself to memorize them in class. 3. When applying knowledge to solve problems, you must believeI remember it myself and apply it directly according to my memory. Even if you remember it wrong, you will have a deeper impression and remember it after a few times if you correct the answer again. Only when a child can find the knowledge he needs to solve current problems in his mind at any time can he experience the joy of learning. In this way, the road to academic mastery will be half successful. 3. Dare to ask for help when encountering learning difficulties. Some children do not dare to ask questions after class when they encounter problems they do not understand. They are worried that others will laugh at them. I once had a student who came in with the top score in the county. Her grades have always been very good, but she encountered a lot of difficulties when learning the \”Permutations and Combinations\” chapter. Every day, she would ask some very simple questions, and some of her classmates even laughed at her for asking stupid questions. However, she is very serious about it, and I explain it to her very seriously every time. The results of it? She learned that chapter. When it came to the end-of-chapter test, her score was quite high. Later, she successfully entered a key university. I think she is a wise person in life. Imagine what would happen to her now if she only cares about face? Ignorance is not terrible, but self-deception is terrible. No one is omniscient and omnipotent. Only by knowing and accepting the true self can we develop ourselves better. 4. Use time effectively and leave yourself enough leisure time. Sometimes, parents feel distressed when they see their children doing homework at midnight after returning home. At the same time, they also feel that their children will definitely become top academics if they work so hard. Unfortunately, this is not necessarily the case. Many times, students who stay up late to catch up on homework seem to spend longer than others, and their results may not be as good as others. Many top students in my class would rather finish all their homework at school and do what they want to do when they go home. Therefore, even if the workload is relatively heavy in the third grade of junior high school, there is no need to do it at eleven or two. The child of a friend I know gives the impression that he doesn\’t study at all. He always plays games after returning home, even playing until two or three in the morning, and then takes the exam the next day. He and my girl are in the same class, and we have a pretty good relationship. My girl told me that he had finished all the exercises, materials, and homework. So, what time did he use to do it? Brush a little after eating, brush a little on the school bus, brush a little between classes, and during class, brush a little when the teacher talks about something that is not very useful to him. In our current terms, it is all fragmented time. This child understands the essence of how to make efficient use of fragmented time. In fact, many top academics have this characteristic, that is, they are very good at using their time. Because they can freely control the time they were born, they are particularly motivated to do what they do. Finally, to sum up, how does one become a top scholar? First of all, academic masters will know better how to allocate their time reasonably and know what to study is more conducive to improving academic performance. Secondly, top students know what to do to learn more solidly. When they encounter problems, they think diligently and are not shy to ask for help. Finally, they do not procrastinate, preferring to complete their study tasks early and then spend the rest of their time freely. please put theseTell your children that if they master these skills, they will not feel that learning is a burden, and reading will become happy.
