People who have experienced it will tell you: Easy learning is the main theme of first grade

I found that parents in the first grade are the most anxious. They are afraid that their children will not be able to keep up as soon as they come up. They need all kinds of tutoring and all kinds of questions. A child\’s learning process is like a marathon, but many parents regard it as a 100-meter race. As soon as they enter school or even in kindergarten, they race against time, euphemistically speaking, and cannot let their children lose at the starting line. In fact, the quality of the results at the beginning does not mean anything, just like the ranking at the beginning of a marathon has no meaning to the outcome of the race. Focus on study habits and subject foundations in the first grade, clear obstacles in advance, and help children successfully pass the watershed of the third grade. As someone who has experienced this, I think it is the last word to do the following things well. 1. Protect your eyesight. I didn’t pay attention to protecting my children’s eyes. This is what I regret most. My child has loved reading books since he was a child, and he would read for an hour or two at a time. When I was very happy about my child\’s love for reading, I suddenly found that my child always tilted his head while reading. I was worried that it was strabismus, so I quickly took her to the hospital, only to be told that she was myopic! And the right eye is already 200 degrees, so no wonder he tilts his head. It turns out it’s because the left eye can see more clearly. Unexpectedly, my child started wearing glasses before he was in third grade. He did not dare to run or fight in outdoor games for fear of damaging his glasses. It is still possible to catch up after falling behind temporarily, but it is almost impossible to recover vision. Parents of first-grade students must ensure that their children have a correct writing posture, look far away after studying, and spend more time outdoors. 2. Pay attention to the basic mathematics aspects of the subject 1. Grasp calculations. It is not necessary for first-year students to answer questions every day, but they must ensure that they practice calculations every day. Calculations in the first and second grades are the basis for calculations in the upper grades. If the accuracy and speed cannot keep up, problems will arise in the calculation of fractions and decimals in the upper grades. Practice for 10 minutes every day to improve accuracy first and then speed. The main thing is to stabilize it. 2. Integrate mathematics into life. In fact, life is full of mathematics, clocks, directions, shopping, etc. Aren’t the first-grade word problems meant to solve practical problems? When buying groceries or shopping, you might as well let your child do calculations on her own to help her connect numbers with items and understand the relationship between numbers. When a child discovers that mathematics can solve practical problems in life, his interest will naturally rise. In terms of English 1. Students who do not have English classes should cultivate their interest. If parents know English, they can take their children to read English picture books and listen to English nursery rhymes. Focus on listening and speaking first to cultivate interest in learning. Don\’t teach letters right from the beginning, as it can easily be confused with pinyin. If parents don\’t know English, they don\’t have to sign up for classes. There are many free English enlightenment videos online. Parents can study with their children and compete to see who can remember the meaning of the words in the children\’s songs first. 2. Students who have English classes in the first grade must grasp the textbook. Even if they have not done a good job in English enlightenment at the beginning, as long as they read every word and sentence that appears in the textbook and know the meaning, their English will definitely be good! In terms of Chinese language, 1. Grasp the basics of vocabulary. The focus of first grade is literacy and writing. The writing list, word list and literacy list at the back of the language book are the top priority. Parents need to help with dictation. 2. Once children practice calligraphy, it is difficult to correct their writing. When the first grade has little homework, be sure to practice calligraphy! You have to be fast to write neatly, otherwise you will have a lot of homework in senior grades. Many, I have to stay up late every day. 3. Reading is a commonplace issue. This year’s textbook revision has changed the original text units to reading units, which highlights the importance of reading. Set aside at least half an hour every day for parent-child reading. We can choose some short pinyin readings, or simply start with the happy reading recommended in the textbook. Encourage children to spell unknown words by themselves first, which also consolidates pinyin.
