Giving life is a wonderful moment in our life journey. As a woman preparing for pregnancy, understanding and adopting correct eating habits is the key to ensuring the health of herself and her future baby. In order to present the knowledge about healthy diet before pregnancy, I chose to convey this important information in the form of painting.

In the center of the painting, I depict a garden full of life. This symbolizes the mother\’s body, preparing the soil for new life. The plants and flowers in the painting represent various nutrients in the pre-pregnancy diet. Each flower has its own unique color and shape, a reminder to strive for variety and balance in our diet.

I depicted foods rich in vitamin C in bright orange. Fruits such as oranges, lemons, and grapefruits, as well as vegetables such as carrots and bell peppers, are good sources of vitamin C. Not only do these foods help strengthen your immune system, they also promote iron absorption and help prevent anemia.

Next, I depicted folate-rich foods in dark green. Folic acid is a very important nutrient before pregnancy, as it helps prevent neural tube defects in the fetus. Green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, kale, and beet greens, are good sources of folate. Beans and nuts are also rich in folate.

To illustrate protein-rich foods, I painted a good piece of meat using brown and white paint. Fish, poultry, legumes and nuts are rich in protein. These foods contribute to the normal growth and development of the fetus and provide the mother with the energy she needs.

To emphasize an important source of calcium, I depicted a glass of milk in light blue. Milk, cheese and yogurt are all good sources of calcium. Calcium is especially important for pregnant women as it helps with the development of fetal bones and maintains the health of maternal bones.

I used red and purple paint to depict some antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables. Foods like blueberries, red grapes, purple cabbage, and purple potatoes are rich in antioxidants, which help protect cells from free radical damage.

The entire painting presents a colorful, rich and vibrant picture, representing the importance of diet before pregnancy. Through a rich variety and balanced intake of foods, women preparing for pregnancy can provide themselves and their future baby with comprehensive nutrition. The purpose of this painting is to remind every woman trying to conceive that healthy choices in diet will have a positive impact on her future baby.
