In the 10th month of pregnancy, when it is time to give birth, I believe many expectant mothers will be a little worried, fearing that the delivery process will not go smoothly. In fact, natural childbirth can be a very simple matter as long as you master the correct method.
A doula refers to a woman with childbirth experience who provides continuous physical support and assistance, as well as spiritual comfort and encouragement before, during and after childbirth. Not only are they experienced in giving birth, but they are also full of love, compassion and responsibility. It can give women a sense of security and dependence, and has good interpersonal skills, so it is a good way to relieve labor pain and eliminate maternal tension.
However, it is the mother herself who should actively cooperate during childbirth. Specifically, she should do the following:
1. Pregnant women should wait quietly for delivery. I want to dispel everyone\’s concerns and firmly believe that every mother can give birth safely and I will be able to go through it smoothly.
2. Work energetically. You must rest after giving birth, pay attention to nutrition, and conserve your physical strength.
3. Learn how to breathe during labor. After delivery, uterine contractions become regular and strong. During contraction, you can use the method of deep inhalation and long exhalation to relax the abdomen and reduce pain.
4. The correct method of exerting force. When labor enters the second stage of labor, the fetus\’s head has reached the pelvic outlet, and the fetus needs to rely on the mother\’s production force (uterine contractions, abdominal pressure, etc.) to deliver the fetus. Therefore, it is very important for expectant mothers to use the correct midwifery methods. During contractions, you can take a deep breath – hold your breath for a while – and hold your breath downward for a long time to force the fetal head down. When contractions come on and off, relax, breathe evenly, and wait for the next contraction to start again.
5. At the moment when the fetal head is delivered, in order to prevent the fetal head from being delivered too fast or too violently, you should work closely with the doctor at this time. Under the guidance of a doctor, after exerting force, relax and exhale until the fetal head is slowly delivered. After your baby is born, you will feel incredibly relaxed and exhausted. When the doctor holds the baby in his arms and holds him tightly, you will experience the happiness and joy of being a first-time mother, the hardships of all mothers in the world, and the greatness of a mother.
