LP and I are both doctors (anesthesiologists), and we know a lot about cesarean section that JMs are concerned about. Now I post some pps so that everyone can get familiar with them in advance and prepare for the future. Don’t be too nervous before you die!
1. Regarding the preparation before cesarean section, it is generally necessary to fast for more than 8 hours before the operation. This is responsible for your safety. Don’t worry about eating dd if you’re hungry! If you suffer from nausea and vomiting during the operation and cause suffocation, it will be a huge loss! (Although it is probability theory, but we don’t want to win this prize!)
notes! Another important point is that many people want their babies to be born at a special time (such as May 1st, 11th, or 2:00 midnight). I think this is not good. Generally, when everyone thinks it is better, like on the 11th, there will often be a group phenomenon. A dozen or twenty pregnant women are about to give birth a day. Obstetric anesthesiologists are very busy, and problems often arise when they are busy!
For example, if you have to wait until noon to give birth in the middle of the night, the doctor is usually very busy and only rests at the end. Being called in for a cesarean section is certainly annoying, and the chances of something going wrong are relatively low. higher!
2. In the obstetrics ward, I am about to undergo surgery. Generally, obstetrics departments need to make some preparations, such as circumcision, catheterization, etc., and then the anesthesiologist comes to discuss and sign with the family members.
