Soy milk has benefits, but don’t be superstitious about its fertility-boosting power

Soy milk has benefits, but don’t be superstitious about its fertility-boosting power

● Drinking more soy milk can indeed delay the decline of ovarian function

Estrogen in women has a regulatory effect on various organs and body shape of their reproductive system. Estrogen ensures the normal function of women’s ovaries. The soy isoflavones contained in soy milk are called phytoestrogens. Although this phytoestrogens are different from estrogen in the human body, they are very similar in structure. For older women preparing for pregnancy who have low estrogen and gradually decline in ovarian function, drinking more soy milk can delay the decline of ovarian function.

● Soy isoflavones are beneficial to the two-way regulation of estrogen in the body

● Soy milk is not a universal fertility food

Soy milk can help women who are trying to conceive become pregnant, but soy milk is not a universal fertility food. Infertility caused by polycystic ovary syndrome, hyperandrogenemia and other reasons must be treated with drugs or medical methods, which cannot be replaced by soy milk.

It can be seen that it is unscientific to rely solely on soy milk to supplement estrogen.
