The baby in the belly can \”speak\”. Does the expectant mother understand?

Summary: Generally around 24 weeks of pregnancy, the number of fetal movements is not stable, so fetal movements will occur from time to time. A sudden increase or decrease in fetal movement indicates that the fetus is deprived of oxygen in the womb. As long as the fetal movements are regular and don\’t change much, it\’s normal. 1, 2, 3 suction 1, 2, 3 suction In the operating room late at night, doctors and midwives at Shunyi Women\’s and Children\’s Hospital were doing their best to save a newborn baby.

The baby was less than a month old and had poor muscle tone, no breathing, no crying, pale skin, and weak heartbeat. Time flies, and the medical staff try their best to fight against death. The heartbeat was strong and fast. shouted the midwife. Everyone present breathed a sigh of relief. The baby\’s face gradually became rosy and his vital signs gradually stabilized. He was subsequently transferred to the neonatal ward for further treatment.

What causes babies to be so poorly? It turned out that the pregnant mother noticed that the fetal movement had decreased in the past two days, so she did not come to the hospital in time. She did not rush to the hospital until bleeding occurred. As a result, the fetal heart rate monitoring showed that the baby\’s condition was extremely bad, and the thrilling scene at the beginning occurred.

The baby in the belly can talk. Can you understand it, expectant mother?

Generally, around the 24th week of pregnancy, the frequency of fetal movements is not yet stable, so fetal movements will occur from time to time. A sudden increase or decrease in fetal movement indicates a lack of oxygen to the fetus in the womb. As long as the fetal movements are regular and don\’t change much, it\’s normal. However, if there is suddenly no fetal movement for a long time or the fetal movement is very rapid and frequent, you should go to the hospital for examination immediately to avoid excessive fetal hypoxia.

After 28 weeks of pregnancy, the fetus will gradually develop regular work and rest habits, and the frequency of fetal movements will be relatively stable. Under normal circumstances, the number of fetal movements in 12 hours at 28 weeks of pregnancy is about 30-40 times. They have their own sleep patterns, so the intensity and frequency of fetal movements vary during the day and night. During the day, the frequency is less in the morning and increases after 6 p.m. Fetal movements are most active between 8 and 11 p.m.

In addition, the frequency of fetal movements is also affected by many factors. Some pregnant mothers will find that when they are busy, the frequency of fetal movements will be less; when they sit down and relax, the frequency of fetal movements will increase significantly. These are normal phenomena.

How to count fetal movements? In the third trimester of pregnancy, the fetal movement space is limited and the amplitude is not large, which is normal. Pregnant mothers need to observe their fetal movements at all times, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy. They should count fetal movements every day, once in the morning, noon, and evening, for about an hour each time. Once you find that there are too few fetal movements (less than 3 times per hour on average), you should go to the hospital in time and ask a doctor for a diagnosis.

Pregnant mothers should pay attention to these fetal movement abnormalities:

1. Add up the early, middle and late fetal movements and multiply by 4. If less than 10 fetal movements occur, it is considered abnormal fetal movement.

2. If the fetal movement is less than 3 times in an hour, continue counting. If the fetal movement is less than 3 times per hour for 6 consecutive hours, it is abnormal fetal movement.

3. TireThe number of movements is 50% less than usual.

4. Fetal movement increased significantly than usual, and then decreased significantly.

5. The amplitude of fetal movement suddenly increases significantly and then weakens, which is considered abnormal fetal movement.

6. The pregnant mother intuitively feels that the fetal movement is abnormal.
