Do you feel that your children don’t have enough time at night, and the effect is not good when your children are tired? This is because you have not distinguished what must be done every day, what should be done on weekends, and what should be done during holidays. What you must do every day: 1. Memorize vocabulary words. Unless you have failed and have to cope with the exam, and need to concentrate on memorizing a lot of time, it is best to memorize words slowly and steadily. Even if you insist on memorizing 5 words every day, the vocabulary accumulated over time cannot be underestimated. 2. Reading texts (including ancient poetry, classical Chinese, etc.) You won’t see much if you don’t do it for a day or two, but the side effects will come out if you don’t do it for a long time. No sense of language, insufficient knowledge reserves, reduced reading and expression skills, inability to concentrate, etc. 3 Calculation Calculation is a basic skill and can only be improved by practicing every day. Students who are good at calculation can practice every other day. 4. The purpose of synchronous exercises and advanced exercises is to test the mastery of the content of the day. After completing the school homework, there should be additional practice for improvement. 5. Extracurricular Reading Before children develop a reading habit, they need a fixed time or even a fixed place to read. Once the habit is developed, there is no need to force it. For us, reading is not a task, but a daily entertainment. 6 Exercise Don’t neglect exercise. If your health is good and your children will get sick less often, they will have more energy to study. In my family, I read texts or memorize words before going to bed and in the morning. When I get back from school, I go downstairs to jump rope and take a break to eat. In the evening, I mainly practice calculations and do synchronous exercises. Every day is very relaxing and there is a lot of entertainment time. Must-dos on weekends: 1. Special training is arranged according to the child\’s situation. If the reading is not good, do reading comprehension, and if the writing is not good, do small pen practice. 2. Review and do unit papers. After studying a unit, you need to do corresponding exercises to consolidate. It is difficult to have a whole block of time in the evening. Saturdays and Sundays are the best time to focus on two hours to do unit papers. 3. Preview the learning content for next week. Since I have previewed it during the holidays (I will talk about it later), it will not take too much time to preview again. 4. Sort out the wrong questions. Do the wrong questions this week again to deepen your memory. 5. After a week of study and work in the great outdoors, both adults and children need to relax. The great outdoors can not only prevent myopia, but also enhance the parent-child relationship. Things you must do during the winter and summer vacations: 1. Check for omissions and fill in vacancies. Based on the performance of the previous semester, focus on the final exam paper and check for omissions and fill in vacancies. Knowledge is linked to each other, and weak knowledge in the previous semester will also affect learning in the next semester. If your child studied well last semester and got full marks or close to full marks, I think it’s okay not to review. 2 You don’t have to understand every knowledge point in preview, but you can prepare for the basic content in advance, such as familiarizing yourself with the text, memorizing it over time, memorizing new words in advance, and practicing mathematical calculations, which will prepare you for the start of school. Save a lot of time later. 3 Calligraphy practice Holidays are the best time to practice calligraphy. Find a synchronized copybook for the next semester, memorize new words, and practice calligraphy at the same time. 4 Special exercises based on children\’s weaknesses, special improvement, reading comprehension, cloze, writing, etc. The above are just some of my experiences. If you have any other ideas or suggestions, please feel free to add them.
